This is Daruma. One eye is colored in when a goal is set, and the other one is filled when said goal is accomplished. I don’t have one, and I’m probably not going to get one because I don’t know what it is I would hope to accomplish. 

I was looking at job listings in Houston. Then I was looking up information on flight attendant positions. (There aren’t any, by the way.) My return is a few months away. Panic building. Will I be staying? Coming back to Japan? What am I doing? After two years, I don’t seem to have anymore answers than when I left. 

I read this quote today:

And it made me think about the friends I have met here. I can’t imagine my life without them, so I hope that the fortune teller was right at least about that part. Not so sure about some of the other things he foresaw…
